Nebraska Mental Health Centers is honored to announce that our Psychology Internship Training Program has been accredited by the American Psychological Association Commission on Accreditation!
The APA Commission on Accreditation (APA-CoA) is recognized by the secretary of the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. This ensures that psychology interns accepted into our program will continue to receive training and education at NMHC that is now accredited by the authority for professional education and training in psychology.
We look forward to continuing our commitment to excellence and provide quality mental health services to the community, while also training the next generation of psychologists.
Prior to APA accreditation, NMHC has been a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) since 2011 and has graduated 23 psychology interns.
